How often does the filter need replacement?

Once the carbon gets wet (just like in any other active carbon filter) its life expectancy is 6 months at the most, no matter if the filter is used or not. Please check  when the ampoule should be changed.  However, for greater safety reasons, our spare parts department will remind you  well in advance that you have to change the ampoule.

What’s the use of silver in the active carbon filter?

Research carried out has proved that the most effective active carbon is the silver activated carbon.

Silver in the carbon of our filter hinders the growth of micro-organisms and bacilli as soon as the active carbon eliminates the chlorine that protects the water.
